Student Program in Mussy-Sur-Seine, France:
Our student program is a 14-day experience. In the summer of 2020, classes begin on July 5th, and conclude on July 18th. Students are expected to arrive at the Charles de Gaulle airport on the first day of the program by noon and depart on the final day of the session by 2 PM. Students will be shuttled by a representative of L’Atelier from the airport in Paris to the chateau then back again at the end of the session for their homeward flight.

Tuition and Enrollment
Enrollment is limited to 10 students per program. Completed registration materials are due by December 1. Once you have been notified of enrollment, a $500 deposit will be due by January 10, 2019, to confirm your status as a participant. A waiting list will be compiled based on receipt of applications and deposits. If deposits are not received on time, students on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to enroll and submit a deposit. The deposit for waiting list students is due on February 1st, 2020. Student tuition for the summer of 2020 is 3,850 US dollars. This figure includes room and board, entry fees for planned museums/activities, as well as all materials, use of studios and equipment, and fresh bed linens, towels and laundry service. It does not include airfare.
Payment is due in full by February 15th, 2020. Payments can be made by check or money order, addressed to L’Atelier au Chateau. International wires, VENMO and PayPal payments are also accepted. Wire transfers are subject to a $40 fee to cover banking costs.
A full refund will be given if a request is received by director Elizabeth Jacquet, in writing, by March 15th, 2020 minus an administrative fee of $500. No refunds are given for cancellation requests received after this date. Once the program has started, no refunds are granted for early voluntary withdrawal, absences or behavioral dismissals (decisions which are at the sole discretion of L’Atelier au Chateau). In the event that the session is canceled by L’Atelier au Chateau for whatever reason, all fees will be refunded.
Medical travel insurance for students is part of the program fee. All participants must have medical insurance prior to their arrival in France. Medical vaccinations are not required for entry into France, however it is recommended that all students and parents check with CDC Regulations at cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list and make themselves aware of potential health risks.
